ABC membership is a lifetime membership and requires a one-time payment only. You will be issued a Membership card with a maintain membership ID number that you can use to log in to the ABC Website for Members to manage your lessons, update application details and to make any inquiries.
As an ABC Member, you can attend the Trial Lesson for FREE if you bring along a new friend (non-ABC member) each time you attend a Trial Lesson! Your friend will enjoy a further discounted price for the Trial Lesson as well! However, do note that both the ABC member and the referred friend MUST attend the Trial Lesson together.
You can also enjoy an exclusive member only discount from our retail merchandise when you present your membership card upon making payment. However, do note that members are not allowed to share or buy items on behalf of a non-member friend/ family.
You will also be prioritized for any 1-Day lessons, events or workshops that we have at our studio.
Please apply for a replacement at the studio. A handling fee of RM20 will be charged for the new card issuance.
Each course has a reasonable pre-determined “expiration date” and each member is responsible for keeping track of it. ABC Cooking Studio is not obliged to extend the course expiration date due to your personal circumstances. Member can log in to the ABC Website for Members and find the relevant information on the top-right corner of the screen. The actual course expiration date will be the earlier of either
(a) the pre-determined expiration date, or
(b) the last day of the month in which the member finished the last lesson of the course

For online Trial Lesson booking, choose one of the menus (Cooking/ Bread/ Cake) and complete the payment with credit or debit card (VISA/ Mastercard) to confirm your booking.
If you are dropping by at our Studio at The Gardens Mall, do pick up a copy of our course brochures and make a trial booking on your preferred date. We accept payment by credit card, debit card, or QR Pay.

A Trial Lesson is designed for a first timer to ABC Cooking Studio to experience the joy and excitement of learning to cook or bake. Customers who joined the Trial Lessons are encouraged to pursue further learning through our regular courses.
All Trial Lessons are conducted in small groups, with up to 4 participants to 1 instructor, so that you can enjoy the optimal amount of time with our instructor and ask questions. After the trial lesson, our instructors will explain more about the benefits of becoming an ABC Member, the application process, the course structure, the package discounts, the various payment options, how to make lesson reservations, as well as answer any questions you may have about the studio and our courses in general. This briefing is only included with a Trial Lesson, hence that is what makes it different from our other lessons such as 1-Day Lessons or workshops.
We offer our lesson at an affordable price of RM85 per pax on Off-Peak weekdays or RM105 per pax on Peak weekends, exclusively for first timers only to try our lessons and introduce you to the studio.
We conduct trial lessons every day, for a duration of 2 hours, starting from either one of these timeslots: 10:15am, 1:30pm, 4.30pm and 7:30pm. You may check the availability of our trial lessons online, up to one month in advance, via this page.
Zero experience is required, therefore even beginners are welcome to join the lessons.
Lessons are conducted in small groups with up to 4 participants to 1 instructor, so you will feel comfortable to ask any questions during the lessons. However for safety reasons, we do have age restrictions for the Trial Lessons. Cake and bread Trials are for 9 years old and above only, while cooking Trials are for 13 years old and above only. Kids age 4 to 8 years old can register for our Kids Course, or join one-day lessons that we offer for kids from time to time such as “Family 1Day Lessons” or “Kids 1Day Lessons”.
We will provide printed recipe, ingredients and cooking utilities to be used in the trial lessons. Apron is provided but will be chargeable at RM1 as rental fee. You are welcomed to bring your own apron as it is compulsory for all lessons.
You may use the locker space to safely store your belongings during the lesson.
Carrier bags for Bread and Cake Trial Lessons are also provided for you to bring back and share with your loved ones. However, Cooking Trial Lessons are strictly for dine-in only to ensure the best consumption experience and food safety.
To ensure the best consumption experience and food safety for all of our customers, all Cooking Trial Lesson must be dined-in at our studios.
We only use strictly halal ingredients in the studio. However, we have not yet obtained halal certificate from the Malaysian authority. Therefore, the current status is “No pork, no lard” to be exact.
Yes, you can, if you are already signed up as a Member. As one of our Member’s benefits, you can unlock other menus for the Trial Lessons by introducing your friends or relatives to us (limited to a maximum of 3 referrals per session only).
Absolutely! Customers who are already registered as a Member can join another trial lesson for FREE by referring friends or relatives who are also interested to learn. By referring new people, members will be rewarded with a free trial lesson ticket which you can select any menu of your choice. Your friends and relatives will also be able to join the trial lesson together with a further discounted price of RM 65 per pax! Kindly contact your instructor for more details.
Yes, we have! Besides our highly popular regular Trial Lessons, we also offer seasonal Trial Lessons from time to time. Menus may vary every few months and will be offered in limited time.

Unlike a restaurant, we need to assign instructors who will come fully prepared for the lesson.
We will also prepare the ingredients according to the number of participants to ensure all our participants use only the freshest and highest quality materials.
We keep our promise to you that each Instructor will conduct lessons at a maximum of only 4 participants per table so that you will get the attention and feel comfortable throughout the lesson. So yes, we do require all our participants to make a reservation before every lesson in order to meet these standards.
Participants are strictly prohibited against making reservations of Trial Lesson for more than 4 pax at one time, regardless of via online reservation or call-in reservation due to our limited slots for Trial Lessons.
Trial Lesson is unlike Regular Lesson, as it will be simpler and consists of sales talk after the lesson. We encourage customers to join strangers together for the lesson.
All Trial Lessons reservations with a group of 5 pax and above will be deemed as group lesson/team building, and thus will be charged at our stated prices respectively.
Customers are strictly prohibited against making reservations of Trial Lesson for 5 pax. Please contact us for the group booking packages.
If we found any customers booking Trial Lessons for 5 Pax and above, we will not hesitate to cancel your lessons without any refund if the customers refuse to top up the Group Lesson price difference.
Customers are strictly prohibited against making reservations of Trial Lessons for private events, regardless of number of participants. as we have very limited slots for each session and the rest of our tables are catered to our regular lessons.
If you would like to book our studio for private events, please contact us for the private event packages.
If we found any customers booking Trial Lessons for private events, which include but not limited to Team Building, Company Event, Hen’s Party, Birthday Party, we will not hesitate to cancel your lessons without any refund if the customers refuse to top up the Group Lesson price difference.
We welcome our overseas Members to attend our Trial Lesson (Free for any ABC Members) if and only if, you bring along at least (1) local friend (Malaysian first-timer Non-Member) when you attend the Trial Lesson.
Both the ABC Member and the referred friend MUST attend the Trial Lesson together. Your referred friend can enjoy a special discounted rate of RM65 per person!
Kindly note that overseas members would need to contact us via email or the contact us form if they are interested in attending the Trial Lesson.

If the Member would like to join the Trial Lesson, he/she may bring a maximum of 3 friends for EACH session. And these 3 friends are entitled to enjoy the Member referral price of RM65.
If the Member does not want to join the Trial Lesson, a maximum of 4 friends are entitled to use his/her membership to enjoy the Member referral price of RM65 for EACH session.
It is always a good habit to write your name and membership ID number on your recipe once your instructor hand it to you, and to check under the table after your lesson before you leave the studio, for situation like this.
Please call the studio and we can help you check on-site. Do provide us with information such as the table number where you had your lesson, the description of your lost item, etc. If someone had picked up your item and passed it to our staff, we can also check our “Lost & Found” box for you.
However, do note that our “Lost & Found” storage management will store items for up to 1-month duration only. After 1 month, these items will be discarded. ABC Cooking Studio is also not responsible for any lost or stolen items, accidents and other troubles that might have caused.
